Main St Bakery soon to be a Starbucks?

Have you heard about this from the Disney Parks Blog? I'm sure that the Starbucks will be properly themed to Main Street USA - turn of the century and all but I'm also sure that the HUGE gooey and delicious cinnabuns that we enjoyed in trips past won't be on the menu :( I like good coffee and all but I think this should have been added to DTD and our Main St Bakery left alone :(
I agree.
I don't drink coffee at all, but can appreciate the fact that coffee has not been great at WDW. So I understand the need for an upgrade. . ..however, I think Main Street should be left the way Walt imagined. Made to remember his home town. There was always something special about walking down that street.
If they wanted to add a Starbucks, even in MK - it just seems it could have been elsewhere. Someone on FB suggested in Future World. Made sense in some ways.
I love coffee but am really saddened by this. I totally agree Deb, Main St should stay the way Walt envisioned it. It goes hand in hand with my feelings on alchohol being served in Be Our Guest. While I have been known to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, the traditionalist in me doesn't like it.

While I don't have any particular sentimental attachment to the Main Street Bakery (don't think I've ever even been there), I do think this has the potential to be really cheesy.
I love Starbucks and all (not a coffee drinker, but I LOVE their hot chocolate), but I hope they don't overdo it with the branding. It's fine to serve Starbucks products, but hopefully you will still feel like you are in Disney World, not suddenly back at your neighborhood coffee shop.
So, I guess I won't form an official judgement until I see what the finished product is like. I'll probably never go in there anyway, as we don't tend to snack a lot in the parks. Hopefully it won't be an eyesore going down Mainstreet though. Of course, they could do a lot to smooth this over by offering Cranberry Bliss Bars year-round, a special WDW perk :)
I read that on FB, and agree - nice compromise.
