Not gonna be able to CM discount :(

Well, it looks like we aren't going to be able to use my friend's CM room discount for our May trip. :( Either one of two things is the cause: they don't allow the discount on the Family Suites at ASMu or all the rooms that were available with that discount are booked. We could do two rooms somewhere and still use the discount, but then we would lose the perks of the suites (kitchenette, two bathrooms, couch/chairs) that we really wanted. But, it's ok, we can still afford to go and stay in the suite anyway (and they are still available at regular price). I'm gonna book one on Thursday (after DH's paycheck hits, lol). We also decided not to get the dining plan since my Mom and DH's sister will probably pay for some of the meals while we are there, so getting the DP would mean that we'd be paying for everything! Now I just have to convince my mom to get an AP, which shouldn't be that hard to do and will go a LONG way in helping to make this trip even more affordable since DH and I have the AP's now too and can pay for them montly (I love that new option, lol).

Sorry you weren't able to get the CM discount but glad you're still going! Don't forget to ask about any Annual Pass discounts when you book - you never know!

Yup, if she gets an AP, then we won't need to get her a ticket when we go which will decrease the cost for us. But, I'm thinking if she doesn't get an AP then we (or she) can buy the 4 Day Wild Pass...it's only like $140 with the PH option. But I know that if she got an AP that it would be used....she likes Disney as much as I do, and since she is here every weekend (she only lives an hour away), I'm sure we'd use them quite often, lol.
If I book in the next few days before the passholder discount are published for May, can I change it later to the discounted rate if they offer one then?

Thanks, I was afraid of that...stupid no discount rule, lol.

We did look at the cabins, but with the pack'n'play and 4 adults, the suites will work better for us. We are planning on using one of the changing areas to put the pnp at night and having the separate pull-outs means that my mom and dh's sister don't have to sleep in the same bed...or one of them sleep in a bunkbed, lol (although my mom is short enough to be comfortable on one of those).
