wow, getting close!

I'll try to answer your questions...
1. From what I've read, only sodas, milk, juice, coffee, tea count as beverages. The specialty drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are not included on the dining plan. Of course, this can vary from restaurant to restaurant and server to server, but I believe it states on the dining plan brochure that specialty drinks are not included.

2. You should be able to see alot of the World Showcase. You may miss performers though, as they come and go at different times. It's going to be a fast paced rush for you, but you should make some headway!

3. If I remember correctly, the pools at POR were open until mid-night.

4. Depends on what you like, but we've always had decent food at the CS in Mexico, and the CS in Morroco (Tangerine Cafe...that one is one of my favorites!!). And don't forget pastries in France...oo la la!!!

HTH's!

22 days is close! You must be sooo excited!

Drinks on the ddp--I think it depends on the restaurant. "Officially" I don't think any specialty drinks (smoothies, milkshakes, etc) are on the plan, but I've heard that some restaurants will allow it. If you see something on the menu, definitely ask, all they can say is no!

World Showcase--It depends on what you want to see. If you want to see absolutely everything, then it's probably not enough time. We usually do 1/2 of the countries in one afternoon/evening and the other 1/2 another day. Also, it will vary by your party size/make up. DH and I saw so much more without our kids! You should be able to see quite a bit, it doesn't seem to get crowded right at opening. We really like to watch the street performers, the acrobats in China, things like that. Also, if you can catch the Voices of Liberty in America, definitely do.

Not sure about the pools, it seems like they're open until at least 11, but can't say for sure.

Hands down, favorite counter service in the World Showcase is the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. If you start your tour at 11:00, start on the Mexico side, it's on your left across from the main building at Mexico. Food was awesome, and large portions (DH and I split the wet burrito, it was really, really good!). We didn't care for the one in America, but the portions were huge there also.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for your answers

We live in New Mexico, so Mexican food at Epcot probably won't be what want, since we have burritos for breakfast, lunch and dinner LOL!!

I was going to vote for Mexico, too, but since you want something different, I'll tell you what else we like.

Well, I was going to suggest Cantina's too! LOL We did enjoy croissants from Boulangerie Pattisserie (sp?) - the ham & cheese and the chocolate were really good! I've wanted to try one of the ones in China but Alan always passes them up! :)

I would think you have a good amount of time to enjoy World Showcase
