Hello~

I need help understanding this please...I purchased the 5-day park hopper and added on the water park and more option. How does this work? If I am understanding correctly, I get a certain amount of visits to the waterparks/Disney Quest...BUT does this mean that we have to visit these places as one of our 5 days, or could we go on the evening that we arrive in Orlando and it not be counted against us?

I hope you can understand what I am asking...

You get to go to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM as often as you want each day with the hoppers. I believe with a 5 day ticket that you get 4 "options". So you can go to the water park, Disney Quest, etc and each person would use an option to enter. If you went to DQ and a water park the same day you would still use up 2 of your options.

I hope that helps! (and Sonya, etc If I got that wrong please correct me, lol)

Thank you for your response. I THINK I understand, but let's see! SO the 6 of us (but one is a 2 year old, so I guess she doesn't count) each have 5-day PH+ options tickets. I orginally had planned for: Day 1 MK, Day 2 AK, Day 3 Epcot, Day 4 MGM and Day 5 Waterpark with Disneyquest one of the evenings, probably day 2 or 5. BUT, it seems hat if I do it that way, I would really still have another park day left because waterpark/Disneyquest do not count as "Days." SO I could actually go to MK twice, then the other 3 parks and fit DisneyQuest in on the night we arrive and maybe the waterpark on another day.

Am I gettting it or WAAAAAAY off?!?!?! :)

Since you have a park hopper you don't need to limit yourself to just one day at each park. You can go to all 4 parks every day for 5 days if you want to. Of course that would take up a lot of time travelling to and from parks, but it does come in handy to break up a day or if you start early at one park and want to end at the park that's open latest or because you have scheduled to watch the parade at MK on say Monday afternoon and want to have dinner that same night at Epcot and watch Illuminations to end your day. You might start at one park and then take a break for swimming or a nap later in the day and then head to another park. That way you can find out what you like in the first couple of days and then the last day you can revisit your favorites.

Personally and this is just my opinion, I think park hopping really works best if you have a rental car, even if you're staying on property. Using Disney transportation takes quite a bit longer and you will eat up more time than you might feel it was worth. Even when staying at Disney we will have a car.

You got it! When are you going to Disney? Are you staying at a Disney hotel or are you off site?
