I just looked at my statement and found a $200 charge on it with a description of "TLP transaction exprired."
After racking my brain and trying to figure out what the heck this could be I called card services. The woman at CS told me that it WAS NOT a charge and wasn't included in my total balance. They were just letting me know that my promotional period was up for the $200 deposit I paid for my trip.
I am not a very trusting person so I added up my transactions and the $200 IS INCLUDED in the total.
Right now I am still trying to wrap my head around this since it seems like I am getting double charged for my deposit. Can anyone explain this to me any better so I can understand what CS was telling me?
Thanks,
Rhonda

Rhonda, I'm really not sure but I would double-check your statements to look for both charges and see if they were actually included in those month's totals.

What do they mean by saying the promotional period for your deposit is up?
Thanks for responding. I figured someone else on here had to have dealt with this at some point....unless they really did screw up on my account.
When you use your Disney Reward Visa to book a vacation you get 6 months to pay it off with no interest. I have made over $12,00.00 worth of payments to them since than...(I am remodeling my house with my Disney Card). I think I may have paid off the $200 deposit for my vacation by now! LOL...Also it is a fairly new card and the 6 months interest free thing for Disney Vacations means almost nothing to me. The card is interest free until Dec 2006....which is one of the reasons I was using it so much.
I did check my statement for both March and Sept and it does appear that I was charged $200 for both months. My only other thought was to see if they give me a $200 credit on my next statement...if not, I will have a nice long chat with someone from CS.
Sorry for being so long.
Rhonda
