Liz, I was just thinking that I would like to actually see the outcome before I book it. And to see if I should do Castle package. mom_of_mara@yahoo.com

Hmmmm...how strange! I wonder if IVillage did something because I know it didn't use to be that way! At any rate, I DID get the pics. you sent and they are adorable! My dd saw them too and immediately asked if she was going to get to do that too, LOL! Guess we may just need to add it to our list!
Thanks for sharing! BTW, how long did it take?
hmmm, i really can't remember how long, but i'll guess it took about an hour. but it was a lot of fun and not like 'this is taking so long!'
enjoy if you decide to do it!

Liz,
First of all those pictures were adorable, you can tell she felt like Jasmine that day.
Can I ask you for advice on BBB? If you were going to do it early Sept, which princess costume do you think would be best? Considering the weather, I am worried that my daughter will want Sleeping Beauty and I am sure it will be a long, heavy dress and I know she wouldn't want to take it off afterward, but I don't want her to pass out from heat exhaustion.
Were the shoes confortable enough to wear through a park?
Also how long did it take from the time she got into the chair until pictures were done?
Do you think there always a photo pass photographer there while the makeover is happening?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

hi jennifer,
i really couldn't say about the other costumes... i assume they're the same as you buy in the parks or the world of disney. when you call, maybe they can help you decide (like maybe they have a 'summer' version of each princess dress you could pick). the shoes are also the same as in the stores - and they're the double sizes (like dd's was 13/1 and she's a 13, so they're a little big, but were fine for while she was wearing them, but i don't know about a park all day long. I remember one of our other trips she insisted on wearing her aurora shoes around MK, and w/in a few hours she was asking to be picked up (we hadn't rented a stroller that day). So our new rule was no shoes except our own comfortable shoes on park days. Maybe schedule this on a non-park day, or for a late as possible so you won't have a whole day ahead of you for walking around the park? then if it's evening, you won't have to worry about the extreme heat either. i don't know till what time they schedule appts. it did seem that the photopass cm was a 'regular' thing they did there. and i'd say the appt took an hour, then we went right over to the place to get the pics done, and that was maybe another hour from the time we left world of disney till the time we were done and walking out of the photo store. but that could depend a lot of how many kids are in front of you there. maybe make an evening out of dtd? or did you want to go to a park for a princess dinner? maybe do the evening in the park (dinner and fireworks), or you could do the grand floridian cinderella dinner.
hth! Liz :)
