Airline regulations about carry on items

Hi all--we are leaving for DW on Wed. What are the regulations for carry on items? I haven't been on a plane in a couple years. Is it true you can't have any liquids, like lotion, water bottles, anything like that. What about medicine, hand sanitizer, kids snacks? Thanks!

We just flew in Sept/Oct and at that time they had JUST lifted the complete ban on liquids. You could bring liquids AS LONG AS they were in clear ziploc bags. Each one separately.

We had no problem at all bringing snacks. Just to be on the safe side (and since we had non-carry-on luggage, too), I packed all liquids in the other suitcases.

They may have lifted the ban even more since October.
