Can't wait to read this trip reports. Never say "never", as I've learned the past few years. After having gone twice in July, then 6 times in the "off season" and saying I would NEVER go back during summer...I am a teacher and sometimes don't have a choice. After becoming a teacher, we went once again in July and it was GREAT!!!...went back the following Feb for an early Mardi Gras (we had been during a later Mardi Gras and it was busier than I expected), and I think the July was easier to do than the early Feb!!!! Since then, we've been in late May and, get this, 4th of July weekend!!!!!!

So I don't doubt that sometime soon, we may end up there during the Christmas holidays, before or after. This year, we have over an entire week before Christmas off of school, so it would have been ideal, but won't be happening.

We went in early November, and I would love to be able to go during Christmas just to avoid all the family holiday drama. Yikes!

That sounds like a lot of fun! December seems like a great time to be in Florida.

How were the crowds last year during the Christmas week?

Really bad. But we lucked out on NYE. We weren't going to go, but then in the late afternoon, both dh and dd convinced me to try for Epcot. We were off-site, and they said to not even take the ECV, they'd share pushing me in a wheelchair, too. So we got there and parked w/ no problem, they even still had wheelchairs available (but no ECV's, not that we would've rented one anyway, since we own one). We even got a good spot for Illuminations, and people were telling us that the park was full almost all day and they weren't letting people in! (And boy, were they sorry we didn't take the ECV, 'cause there's hills right between the UK and France pavilions! lol)

This year though, we'll be on-site for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, so dh won't have to load & unload or assemble & disassemble the ECV and we already are planning to be at Epcot for NYE, he said that Illuminations show was the best!

In peace,
Max
