Approved for a Disney Visa

My bank let me know that I was preapproved for a Disney Visa... I toke them up on the offer. I should get the info and card soon. Anyone want to remind me of the perks you receive with it? I have not booked our vacation yet.

Your vacation booked THROUGH Disney is interest free for 6 months. You get 1 reward dollar for every $100 you charge on the card. Discounts on certain tours at WDW, and that's all I can think of for now.
Enjoy!
You also get a discount at the World of Disney store in DTD. I think you need to spend over a certain amount, and I can't remember if it's 10 or 20% off your total. You need to use your Disney Visa or you Disney Visa Rewards card.
I'm not sure how long they are running the promotion, but you also get a Meet and Greet at Innoventions in Epcot. You present your Disney Visa, and they usher you to a "secret" room with a couple of Disney characters (we had Minnie and Goofy this year). You get a certificate for one free 5x7 photo from the session, which you pick up at the camera center in Epcot. They usually take 3 or 4 poses, depending on how many people are waiting. We got a great photo last trip...totally framable. This trip, our photographer STUNK and the picture was total crap. Off center and everything. It was hard choosing a good one...and it was free! I almost just let it go, they were that bad!
Every once in a while, I get coupons for a % off at the Disney Store or Disney Store on-line if I use my Disney Visa.
We've been very happy with the card itself. I usually rack up about $300 a year in rewards dollars. We use the card for EVERYTHING, taking each transaction out of our checkbook as we would a debit on our debit card. At the end of the month, I add the charges back in, and pay the card off in full. I've been doing this for nearly 3 years now! Works great, and gives us mad money for our trips!

Thanks Marcy!
I am planning on using the card the same way you did to rack up points. Our trip is in February, so I only have a short time to get points, but it still should come in handy.
A friend told me she used the card inside the park (instead of cash). They just scan the card and use the points as payment. That sounded great also.

I activated the card yesterday.. Now I need to book my trip on it to take advantage of the 6 months interest free (plus the points I will get with that large purchase). The problem is that we are going in February and still cannot book a package. I messaged Sonya, but still have not heard back from her. I guess I will maybe have to buy tickets and room separately to take advantage of the full 6 montns no interest on the card.
Hopeing to hear from Sonya soon.
