Hmm, and since you have more adults than kids, you can have the adults run off for fastpasses as needed...get there early (before opening) and you'll have a great time!
Tues is also Mardi Gras. Almost all of Louisiana has Mon & Tues off of school, some districts have Wed off too and some have the whole week off. Many La residents visit Disney during Mardi Gras. For the past 7 years, I have known at least 2-5 families that have visited each year. (Not the same families...like 2 one year, 3 another year, 5 one year, etc). Louisiana has a lot of Disney fans and at one time it was the state with the highest something of visitors (outside of Florida) to WDW (either percent per capita, or percent of out-of-state visitors or something).
The WEEK of Pres Day has a lot of visitors every year, so since Mardi Gras changes dates every year, you can expect it to be busier this year.
We went during Mardi Gras 2004 when it was a week after Pres Day. We experienced HIGH crowds the Sat after Pres Day from the Pres Day crowds ending their visit and the Mardi Gras & Michigan spring breakers coming in. Although there weren't nearly as many Michigan visitors than Louisiana visitors (we saw at least one other family from Louisiana every half hour...lol...and it was right after LSU won the National Championships), the Michigan visitors did make an impact.
Tuesday would probably be the last really impacted day for Mardi Gras crowds, but Pres Week crowds will be there through Friday, and that week is ALWAYS busy. Busier than when Mardi Gras falls early in the month, so obviously Pres Day/Week has more of an impact than Mardi Gras.
If I had the choice, I'd wait until next week because it will just be the Michigan spring breakers. But if you had to go this coming week, Wed or Thurs might be better than Tues.

Nope, we are doing 1 day at MK only!!
Yes, we can be there bright and early. We are going with three toddlers (yes you read that right 3 toddlers!) and 4 adults total.

if you are only doing MK one day, then honestly I think the following week would likely be slower, so would wait the week for it.
we just did wdw with a 4 year old and 2 year old twins.

I live in NC, and they've taken President's Day away from us, at least for the next 3 school years (in our county).
