Can anyone tell me how much the autograph books are in WDW? I can't figure out if I should search here at home first(where????) or wait & buy them there. I want to scrapbook the signatures w/ the pictures once we are home, but can xerox them from the kids books. TIA~Chris

there are many different kinds of scrapbooks.

one that i saw over the summer, gave the kids a page for the characters to sign and the next page was a page to insert a photo.

last year i actually made an autograph book by binding construction paper with a laminated disney picture on top.

I think the "Official" autograph books at WDW are around 6 or 7 dollars. They are nice books but you can get really nice books at the dollar store too.

We've done it both ways, the Disney book makes a great souvenir and we got one last year, but the previous trip I got a pretty spiral bound notebook with glittery fairies on the cover from a dollar store - the spiral binding made it easy to have a fresh page ready for each new siggy. We kept the opposite page free and later glued in the picture of DD and the character.

We found some great ones for our last trip at Target.

At target right now there are Pooh & Princess books, about 5x7 in size, thin unlined paper similar to the Disney books in the $ section. They also have pooh & princess fat pens that have multiple colors. That's what I picked up for our Dec trip. I've used and had no trouble with the Disney books (w/ & w/o sharpies), I've also used the small spiral bound scrapbooks, they are about 3.5 x 5 and heavy card stock.

No matter what you use, use a ruberband to mark your page and keep the other pages out of the way.

I tried finding the "official" Disney autograph books prior to our Aug. trip and never could find them.

Thank you! I will probably wait on ds' book, as I'm thinking a 10 yr old would rather Mickey than Pooh:).

I saw the ones you're talking about from Target - and I can't believe I wasn't thinking "autograph books"!! I picked up some Pooh stickies (for lunch box notes), and Pooh and Princess magnets for the fridge. I saw the journals but totally wasn't thinking autographs - duh!!! LOL
