TY

I was once told that Canada is the best place for fireworks at EPCOT. That is all I can remember from my lost word document.

I love a parade! Parades and fireworks are something that we usually don't miss.

I always suggest that people use those opportunities to get a good seat, a snack, and to rest! If you take breaks during the day, you can go longer! That's my #1 tip for first timers... take breaks! I believe that you can go from opening to closing if you take advantage of sit down meals, sit down attractions (TTA, Hall of Presidents, CoP, etc.), parades, etc.

Here are my favorite spots:

SpectroMagic and Wishes - the walkway between the hub and Tomorrowland. Tink flies right over your head. After Wishes, if there is a second parade, usually you can just move to the hub and grab a curb for Spectro. We like to watch Spectro in the hub in front of the castle.

Share a Dream Come True - We try to secure a spot right in front of Splash when they start putting up the ropes for the afternoon parade. The afternoon parade starts just to the left of Splash, so you see the parade as it comes out. As soon as it's over, the parade will have things tied up down Frontierland, so make a break for Thunder Mountain or Splash. The lines will be way down because that area is cut off at parade time. So my tip is to save Splash and/or Thunder for after the parade.

Jammin' Jungle Parade (my fav) - Secure a spot in the shade right outside Kilamanjaro - it's where the parade begins. Get you an afternoon snack and rest in the shade till the parade begins.

Stars and Motor Cars - To the left of Star Tours are two little stroller parking areas in which you can sit to watch the parade. The parade starts there and if you are lucky, your kids may get picked to hold the ropes at the end of the parade. Our kids did last year and I walked with them the entire parade route. It was a blast. Pluto posed with them holding the rope at the end!

Basically, outside of SpectroMagic, we like to watch the parade where it comes out. The performers seem more energetic right out of the gates. Also, the parade is over sooner and you can usually get on nearby attractions that have been roped off.

HTH!

Sorry to hear that you lost your WDW folder! I don't know what I would do if all my stuff that I saved on my computer disappeared!! {{Hugs}} to you!

Everyone has their own favorite spot for the parades/fireworks.
