We celebrated my DH's 40th birthday in October 2005. His request was to have dinner at Teppanyaki in Japan. There were 11 of us, but we had to split up because the table only seats 8. They brought him a piece of cake with a candle, and gave him a chef's hat. Anyway, it was fun, but he decided that he should have picked Whispering Canyon Cafe instead. Oh well.
He got his birthday button at the MK on his birthday, and he experienced all kinds of Disney Magic that day, including being moved to the front of the line at the Tomorrowland Speedway by a cast member who spotted his button. It was GREAT, since the wait on line was over an hour long!
In answer to your Star Wars question, there is a ride, Star Tours, at MGM. Under the ride, there is a great gift shop that my kids absolutely LOVE. Can't get out of that place without spending a bundle! LOL
