I've been going back and forth whether or not to do this but Clara was invited to a "make-up" party this past Oct and she loved it so much. And Sara was just in awe of her sister when she saw her sparkly nails and her hair all done up. So I called and booked an appt for both of them.

I thought the coach package was a good value for the price.....I wasn't sure the nails were worth the extra money. I saw a little girl checking out when we were that had the press-on nails, and she was already having trouble keeping one of them on. My girls are so hard on their hands, they'd have lost a few nails almost immediately! I was able to keep it a surprise from my girls, and one of mine freaked when we walked back there. She has very long hair and was worried they were going to cut it. It was the first salon experience for them ever, since I cut their hair.

Anyway....I'm excited for your girls. How fun!

How fun for your girls! We are going next week. YAY! I booked the coach pkg for my DD. She wanted her nails done, but from what I have read, it doesn't seem worth the $10 to me either. She's lucky if her nail polish stays nice for a day, LOL. I told her I would paint her nails in the hotel room before and she's okay with that. I also booked the cool dude for DS. I haven't heard much about this but I figured I'd try it for 10 bucks. I wish I had done this as a surprise but I was so excited for my DD I couldn't keep quiet!

Thanks, everyone, now I'm even more excited for them! I didn't realize that they do press on nails too - I thought they'd do sparkly stuff so part of me thought that would be great but messy.

Target around here has "princess press-on" nails. Have you seen these? They are about $3-4, I think. I considered buying them ahead of time, but then changed my mind. No way I wanted the 2 year old wearing them, and she would have insisted.

MY nails need some work. I should have purchased that part of the package for myself....
