This is the one area that I was most disappointed with at WDW.

:-) We have a whole folder dedicated just to this very thing! :-) It came to life as the request of board members. Just scroll down a bit and ask away!

Wow....dining is a big part of our trip, and we usually have a hard time narrowing our choices down for 7 days! The TS meals are pricey, but no more pricey than dining in a metropolitan area like NYC or Philly. As for selection of CS meals...we have several favorites: Cosmic Ray's in the MK, Tusker House in the AK (excellent CS food that closely rivals TS food!), Just about ANYWHERE in Epcot (I like Morroco best, but I've had good food at many places!). The only park lacking good quality CS food is MGM. We stick to TS there.

I think the dining plan is worth it if 1. You like to eat one good TS meal a day, 2. You know how to maximize it (like using TS credits for dinner instead of breakfast. You get more bang for your buck at dinner), 3. You like having a plan or itinerary and don't mind sticking to it for the most part.

For us, it is a no-brainer. I know we will eat on TS meal a day, and the dining plan basically pays for itself that way. I don't know if I could do Disney without it after having used it last year.
