Car entals?

We are flying in to Orlando, so we were thinking about renting a mini van. Any suggestions as far as which rental places are best, have a rental car nightmare, or know which will save the most money.
I love to save a buck anywhere I can, so if you know of any places with a great discount (possibly military discount) please let me know :o)
Thanks for all your help ladies, I just found this site a few days ago, and you've all helped me out a lot already.
Take Care,
Carrie

I am in the same boat. I am looking for November. I have discount codes, free upgrades you name it I have it. The companies seem to be very stingy when it comes to what they will actually give you. Really annoying.
Do you really need a van? We have 2 adults and 3 kids. One is in a car seat, 1 is in a booster. Both DH and I are over 6" tall. We decided we think we can fit into a Chevy Impala. The cost savings is crazy compared to a mini van. Why are they so expensive???
I have rented from different places everytime I have rented. National, Enterprise, Thrify. No horror stories. Just shop around.

In September we rented a large van through Thrifty (on Butler ave/dr). I have a reservation through them for a Kia (smallest car available) since it's just the two of us.
Good luck!
I just found the cheapest rate with Thrifty using a discount code fro www.rentalcarmomma.com.
