I can't answer all of your questions but here's what I know...

Magical Express = DD is 4 and didn't use a car sear nor did any of the other children on our bus. Not sure about FL laws regarding car seats, etc.
It took us 7 HOURS to get our luggage delivered to our room this year and last year. They also lost DHs suitcase but it was delivered at 12:30 AM. I would definitely pack any essentials you may need in a carry on.

Ear problems = DD had a terrible time on the flight out this time so on the way home we bought Earplanes which are just earplugs for kids. Here is a link
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/index=blended&field-keywords=earplanes&results-process=default&dispatch=search/ref=pd_sl_aw_tops-1_blended_6520117_2&results-process=default
They did help DD.

Buses = There is shelter at all of the bus stops I remember seeing and the buses are well marked (they have those LED destination signs on them). They run at different intervals from different locations. You would have to check the location you are leaving from to find out how often they run.

That's all I can help you with. I'm sure others will have more answers.
Have a great trip!

1. If you don't go off site you'll be fine w/o the booster seats. ME is a coach style bus with big cushy seats, the other transportation buses (theres 4 different kinds) are all public transportation type with hard plastic seats in varying configurations. Fl law can be found here - http://www.carseat.org/

We did not have a problem with mosquitoes either, but we did pack some Cutter Repellant Wipes last time that I found at Wal-Mart. I think I found them in the camping area, but it may have been with the other repellants. I think we did use them at Fantasmic just in case (oldest DS gets impetigo easily and it is better to prevent bites).
