just a bit of info..........

last year i had posted regarding this issue and this year I asked a CM

last summer, my daughter became very sick, which is rare because she's never never sick, I have a theory that it was stitches great escape, combined with the heat because right after we got done with stitch she complained of a headache. she wanted to try to stick it out in the park.

so we went on Carousel of Progress. well, shortly after the start she felt very sick and wanted to leave, there was no CM, and obviously the doors were locked, no emergency way out.

so this year before we went on, i asked a CM what would one do if they were very sick and needed to get off, and they basically said there was nothing you could do. I'm not happy with that answer as what if there were a huge emergency and someone had a heartattack, you mean to tell me that we'd have to wait 20 minutes to get out.

if anyone has any other info, i'd like to know -- it's something I never thought of before but as it so happens it's been on my mind now.

There is an emergency exit at the back of the theatre. If the door is opened the show stops. It's only been open on one of our last 4 visits, but on that particular occasion a CM was in the show room the whole time. (I don't know if that's normal or not it was a long time between that show and the one we had seen before it. ) But there is an emergency exit, it would probably be illegal not to have it. I don't think you're allowed or advised to just get up and leave if you feel bad though becuase it's a ride and you can't just get up off of other rides, but it's there.
