Do you need to be a resort guest to go on the carriage or wagon rides at Fort Wilderness?...we are staying off site but this sounds like fun. Has anyone done the fireworks wagon ride?

Thanks

Haven't done this but it looks so nice! I was just reading on AllEars and I can't see anything where it would be just for resort guests.

I just came back from Fort Wilderness last night so this should be very accurate info. No, you do not need to be staying at the campground to ride the carriage/wagons. They are 45 minute rides and well worth the money. I believe both kids and adults were under $10.00 each but cannot remember exact pricing. The carriage rides leave the Settlement area (just outside of the marina where the boat drops you off) at 7pm and 9:30 I believe (weather permitting). Some times they will take you along the beach area to view the water parade, it's so beautiful! Have fun, hope you take some time out to try it!
