With your kids being so small and wanting to be able to take naps, your best bet would be to stay on site. If you want to find lodging under $225, you have a pretty big choice where to stay on site. You can get a package with tickets and meal plan if you want. Since your kids are pretty small I would almost say you could skip MGM and spend an extra day at MK. I would say that has the most "rides" your kids could do. If you want to make ADR's you should make your meal decisions pretty quick. If you want to see Lilo & Stitch, then O'Hana for breakfast would be the choice and I have heard that the princesses do meals at Norway at Epcot (I have all boys so we don't do that route). We are going in September with a 7 yo, 4 yo and 9 mo old. I think the baby will really enjoy seeing everything. Sure he won't remember, but I will. As I said before, there is a ton of things that your DS can ride on at MK, so don't worry, I would go for it! A lot of people take their own stroller. I wouldn't worry about someone stealing it. The CM's will move it while you are on a ride though, so mark it so you can find it easy.
Thankfully it was just on paper and a bit on a diaper,so all is well (until I find more later! lol)
OK, if you wait and go July 5 then the deluxe resorts in the MK area are in value season instead of REgular season like before the 5th. Problem is I'm having difficulty coming up with standard room availability for the 5th. I have all sorts of options checking in June 30 (regular season)
Here's what I was able to find - WIlderness Lodge Standard room July 5-8 (3 nights) including 3 day park hopper tickets a bit over 1300. Price would go down w/o the hopper option.

HI Robin!!
~Elena (July PG member! - yeah, even though I had my baby in June LOL!)
DANG on the dining plan. But like someone else said I am sure you pay for it elsewhere.
There are 3 resorts on the monorail line, The Grand Floridian, the Polynesian and the Contemporary.
