Disney with 10 week old in June

For some insane reason, we have planned a trip to Disney in Orlando the first week of June. I am due with our 3rd child in about 3 weeks which will make him about 10 weeks old. We also have a 7 and 9 year old. We have been in November and February before, but never June. We wanted to do the water parks and Discovery Cove at Sea World this time around which is why we are going in June. My inlaws are going with us and are going to keep the baby while we do the dolphin thing, but he will go with us everywhere else. Any advice on Disney with a baby from BTDT would be appreciated.

No, they will stay at the hotel while we do DC. Sorry about the confusion. But he will go to Disney and anywhere else that we go.

I can't speak from experience but I know several board members have taken infants to WDW.

Congrats on the new upcoming baby!
We also took our 4 mo. old in late July. It can be done! We realized early on that we needed to take a break from the action about every 1 1/2- 2 hours. The baby care centers were wonderful. We changed our dd there, wiped her down with cool towels, (used lots of baby powder, too, btw), fed her and gave her some time to cool down.
I mostly used a stroller with her--one that had an extra large shade and an extending shade so that she was protected from the sun. I carried light blankets to cover her legs from the sun, too, if necessary. (Check with your ped. about the sunscreen. Ours gave us the go-ahead to use it for our trip.)
I had a baby bjorn carrier as well, but I got really hot using it. I used it on some of the rides and I did need it when it started to rain....we had a clear rain cover for our stroller that ds used a few years earlier, but dd was terrified of it...so I ended up putting her in the baby bjorn and putting a poncho over the two of us (I ripped the neck a little so that her head could fit through, too.)
We drove down for that trip and I am so glad we did....we had so many supplies (formula, diapers, etc.) and we brought along several types of strollers-- a double (our ds was 3), and 2 single strollers--a reg. umbrella for ds and a stroller that could hold and "pop out" a carseat carrier for dd---that one was particularly nice for going to restaurants. We could carry her in in the carrier and leave the stroller outside of the restaurant if needed. Great when she was sleeping.
It was also nice having the car when she was especially cranky. I can't imagine what we would have done when we needed to make a quick exit --and would have had to wait for Disney transportation.
We also broke up the day by visiting the parks earlier, eating in an airconditioned restaurant for a late breakfast/early lunch, and going back to the hotel in the early afternoon to take naps or a dip in the pool.
We visited Blizzard Beach that trip, and although the park was great, dd did not do well. It seemed that we couldn't find a spot that wasn't too hot and despite our arrival at opening time, was very, very crowded. She liked the little pool for awhile and then cried and cried, so we ended up leaving shortly after arriving.
It was a great trip overall. DD really seemed to love all of the excitement. The characters spent so much time at our table during character meals--they love babies.... Once we got our routine down (stopping the baby care centers regularly) the trip went very smoothly.
Good luck to you!
Claudia
