I don't think anybody anticipated a price increase in August. The only other time that they have done a midyear price increase was in 2002 when they didn't do one in Jan (due to low tourism after Sept 11, 2001). I'm hoping, but have no evidence to support this at all, so don't quote me, that becuase they raised the price now, they won't in Jan. Universal & Sea World didn't raise their prices which sets them up for their annual increase in Jan. At which point Disney will be well into their Year of a Million Dreams promo and can say look *we* didn't increase our prices and they did it's a 'dream come true' LOL .....becuase the internet informed actually make up a small portion of the visitors, the mass public will not realize that Disney had raised the prices 4 mo prior.

If you order your tickets in advance you'll be fine. There is a price difference between advance purchase and gate purchase, but who really wants to go and stand in line for tickets that first day? lol I have also seen on other message boards that 1 or 2 liscenced ticket brokers still have the pre 8/6 prices.

I'm kinda of confused at to when I should get my tickets for WDW and where to get them, even though we're only going for one day to the Magic Kingdom in Feb. 07, do I have to specify an exact date or can we just say the between the dates of Feb. 19-22?

Sorry this sounds so stupid when I read it back :)
But thxs for all the help

The tickets are not date specific. So no worries about that.

Thank you so much for all your helpful information. I did not know about the $3 processing fee either.

:( Unfortunately yes, we can only afford to go 1 day to MK, but I won't complain since I have not been there in 20 yrs or whenever Epcot opened! I guess that's why I have so many questions about the MK and what we can do in 1 day and still have a great time and make it memorable for our 2 ds.
