Planning to go with dh in Oct; he has convention to go to. We will be taking ddout of school for 2 days with us 7yr old and probably a girl cousin 6 with us. We've only been to Disneyworld 9 days once last summer; want to know what to see with the short time 4 days we have and to make the most of it. We also have to see family one day in San Diego. Also do they have the same set up as far as tickets, meals. Is it worth getting the meal pkg for a 3 day. What hotel would you recommend near Anahein.

Thanks,

Kathy

Well, you can share some of that DL wisdom with me. We just got AP's we live about an hour and fifteen minutes away but traffic here is a nightmare so sometimes it does take longer. We are going in June for 2 days for my b-day and staying at the DL hotel we tried for the Grand Californian but it was booked. What are some of your favorite restaurants in the area? Also any advice on DCA we're going to go next time we're there because last time it was to crowded, we've never seen that park.

No favorite restaurants in the area we mostly ate counter service at the parks on our trips.

DCA- Depends on what you really want to ride, but Soarin is awesome.

Disneyland and California Adventure are so close, that we walk between the parks many times during a trip.

I would not buy the meal plan, there are places to eat off site (very close) that are as good or better than DL/DCA meals.

What is California Adventure? Is it six flags park? Do they still have Universal Studios? Is it easy to get to? My dd 7 loves Hannah Montanna. I'm wondering if they have anything about her at Disney. I guess we would have to see her in concert. Well thank you all for your replies and all the helpful information.

Since you're going in October, I have to say check out Haunted Mansion Holiday (assuming they're still having it this year). They layover the Haunted Mansion with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, and it is fantastic!
