Do they ask the age of your child?

Our child just (just!) turned 3 and we are going to pass her off as 2 at the MK (she is small for her age, which is good). How in-depth do they get with the age-thing -- do they ask the child how old she is?

Anybody else experience this?

They have asked us before going through the gates when they were in strollers. They say "How old are you princess?" Both of my kids love to talk about how old they are, either my older DD would answer for her or she would tell them herself. When we were there in December, she told them "I turn 3 on December 22".

I would be prepared to buy a ticket.

Disney does not require ID for children but most Cast Members (at the gates) will ask how hold your child is as you are entering the parks. Enjoy your visit!

I may have screwed myself..... when I booked a few character meals last November (for May), I told them she was going to be 3. I don't know if I'll be able to get her into the park as a 2yr. old now. :-) Oh well, we still may try - but it's really no big deal.

We went to WDW over Labor Day Weekend, three weeks before DS turned three.
