Ok, I accidently posted this on the wrong section SORRY!!

We just got a call about our trip to Hawaii for next year- This is the first time for us and want to make it a good one. They came back with Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club studio (there will be 2 adults and 8 yr old).

The reviews on this resort are mixed. It's not my first choice. Should we hold off for a better one? and risk not going at all? There doesn't seem to be much around the immediate area of the resort. Everything is at least a 20 minute drive. We have until Friday of this week to make a decision about this one.

DH thinks we should, I don't. Need advice! Anyone else gone anywhere other than Disney resorts using DVC? HELP!!!

THANKS!

Did you already pay your fee for booking outside?

We haven't purchased any flights yet. We just gave them a window of when we'd like to go. Summertime really. We did already pay for the booking- you have to pay when you place the inquiry request. We gave them a list of 4 resorts and they have only matched one so far. My question is should we just accept the first one or hold out for a better match. I guess it's a gamble. We do have a while to wait for flights since we aren't looking to go until June.July 2007.

This match was the last on our list. So I am thinking we might wait. From what I've read on tripadvisor the ammenities and activites are a bit to be desired at this resort. The nearest touristy things are about 20 minutes drive away. We like to be entertained a bit- I guess that happens when you are used to Disney! LOL.
