Hi all

I think that I have a pretty good plan for our day at Magic Kingdom, but would like some suggestions for Epcot and MGM. We will be going thanksgiving week. Can you tell me what your favorite must sees for these parks? My kids are ages 7 and 9.

Thanks a lot! You all are great!

Hi Kathy! You've gotten lots of suggestions already - I just thought I'd add my two cents worth! :)

My kids also love Epcot and have learned to love MGM.

Ooooh thank you all! Sounds like we will have lots of fun! I'm going to print out your suggestions so I will have a PLAN. May not follow it completely but if I don't have any ideas, we will just wander around and miss a lot of cool stuff. We'll have fun but not as much fun as we could have, so thank you!

Dh and I were looking at allears to see if we might try to get adr at mgm. Allears shows a fantasmic dining package at hollywood and vine. But I don't see it offered at the disney site. Has anyone done this? or even does Disney still offer it? Would it be a good thing if I can get reservations? Is there really a long wait for fantasmic?

Thanks again.

We did the package at H&V in June. I think it depends on when you are going to be there. I would say that the package is very helpful to reserve seats without having to wait an hour, but if you are going during slower times I don't think it would be necessary. Despite having to deal with a very, very cranky 2 year old, I do remember that the food was pretty good, especially the roast. But, since you have to give a credit card number to hold your ADR, you don't want to cancel at the last minute because they charge your card $10/person (I think that's the amount). You can cancel prior to 48 hours before your ADR without penalty. HTH :)

Hello, me and my fiancee just got back from our disney trip yesterday. Epcot is definately one of my fav. parks. There is alot to do there, we especially love seeing the different countries, that alone can take up most of the day. Epcot also has a new ride called Soarin, be sure to check it out, it was great!! I also like MGM but was a little dissapointed as a few of the attractions I wanted to see in that park were closed. I'd also highly recommend Sea World if you have a free day to venture outside of the disney parks. We did sea world our last day there and loved it. You can actually pet the dolphins!!

We did Disney last week and spent time in both Epcot and MGM while there.
