We are going to wdw june 12-17 and I am afraid the lines are going to be awful. My question is can you only use one fast pass per person a day,or is it one fast pass for that ride per day.I don't know if I worded that correctly. Thanks in advance. Lori

The way FastPass works is you put in everyone's admission pass in the FP machine, and it spits out tickets (one per each pass) with a time frame for you to return (may be 1 hour, may be 2 hours)..before you put your pass in, there is an indicator telling you what time the Fast Pass will be good for, so you can decide if you want to get it or not.
You can get more than one fast pass per day, even for the same attraction, but you won't be able to get another fast pass until the start time of your current fast pass. Therefore, if your fast pass for Buzz is for 2:20-3:20 pm, you can get another Fast Pass at 2:20 pm for any ride with a Fast Pass.

definitely take the time to understand the Fast Pass system - it can be your best friend! I hear so many people in the parks complaining because they don't really understand how it works - like if you go to one of the more popular rides at noon, it's likely that the fast pass return time is going to be 5:00 - 5:20....if your schedule allows- take the fastpass- ride other attractions and then come back. Some people think that a FP allows you to skip the line whenever you want (gee, why are all these people standing in line - just get a fastpass...doh!)
My girls love Buzz Lightyear - usually we go to Buzz, get a FP, then get in the regular line and ride it...then once we're off it's usually our FP return time so we get right back on through the FP entrance and ride it again.
Have Fun!

on that " if you get there at noon your fast pass time may not be until 5pm-5:20" could you go get another fast pass that may be for 1-2pm or are you not allowed to get another one until after 5pm?
On all of your fast passes it not only has a return time but a time that you're allowed to get your next fast pass. In the cases of fast passes being many hours later, you are generally allowed to get another fast pass a little over an hour past the time you got your first. Clear as mud? LOL Just look on your fast pass.
Ok, so that's 2 things I learned today:
