We are traveling to Disney on December 1. We went last year at Christmas with our 2 and 3 year old little girls and loved it. We did the Very Merry Christmas Part and are doing it again this year.
I was wondering if anyone has ever traveled to the different resorts to look at the Christmas decorations in the lobbies. We are staying at an offsite villa but I would very much like to take the girls to the resorts to look at the decorations using the Disney monorail. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not they would let us do this since we weren't staying at a Disney resort. I especially wanted to see the life sized Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian after seeing it on the Travel Channel.

Yes, they will let you (potential business for them...you may want to stay there next trip). The GF Gingerbread House is AWESOME!!!! I really, really want to see Wilderness Lodge at Christmastime, too, but didn't get to on any of our 4 Dec. trips (I really didn't know we could until the END of our 3rd Dec trip, and our 4th Dec trip was RAINY--downpours, and it took all we had to get out to the parks.)
