Im goin to disney world in 2 weeks and I am like 9 weeks pregnant. I know I shouldnt go on rides like the tower of terror and rockin roller coaster because they are jerky and all that but has anyone been pregnant and gone on space mountain and the others like everest and thunder? My friends mom is a obgyn and she said I could go on my favorite one once or twice but I shouldnt go on all. I go to my first obgyn appt tommorow moring and Im gonna inquire about it but I really want to be able to go on some because my husband and I are going with a person new to disney and she is my friend but I also dont want to do harm. I know its prob best to not do any but when i read about it it says there is no proof it harms the baby but there is no proof it doesnt either. I just wondered if anyone else went on any rides when they were early in their pregnancy.

I went to Disney when I was 12 weeks pregnant with my first son (he's now 12!), and I didn't ride any of the rides with "warnings". So, no Tower of Terror, RnR Coaster, Space, Splash, or Big Thunder Mtns. Animal Kingdom wasn't built then, so didn't have to worry about the safari or Everest.

I was very cautious, being my first pregnancy, but then again, I think I'd be cautious even it if it weren't my first!

I had been to Disney before, so I had already ridden all of those rides. We've been several times since then too, so I've had a chance to ride them again.

Talk to your OB, and go with what they say (and your gut instinct too!).

I leave for Disney World in 13 days. I will be 20 weeks pregnant. I spoke to my OB today and no rides that have a warning. Also, take it easy is what I was told. I am a DVC member so I go every year. I will miss going on Test Track and Mission Space. But oh well, better to be safe than sorry.
Have a great time and enjoy,
