Goodbye to the Power Rangers

For those who are fans...

From Intercot's e-newsletter:

"The long running Power Rangers Meet and Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will come to an end later this Summer. This change appears to be a result of the Walt Disney Company selling the rights to the Power Rangers back to Haim Saban.

ROFL The first thing I thought of when I read this was "oooh, I wonder what will replace them!"

LOL..well, I was just joking about the celebrating. I just don't care, so when there's something I don't care about, I just avoid it...lol. Didn't bother me that they were there.

But if something cool is replacing them....

...Aly votes for Muppets meet & greets...lol.

I think they actually HAD Muppet meet & greets in the early 90s. I know they had an outdoor show in '92. I didn't really "see" it because I nearly passed out (and it was EARLY in the day, but I had a bladder infection and didn't know it yet). We left the 3-D theater and went stand out to watch this show. There was a guy with a BIG cooler (like maybe even on wheels)..you know, the kind not allowed in the parks??? that gave me a bag of ice.

Anyway, Mike shot a couple pics (so I know it existed...I have pics!) before he realized I was blacking out.

Aww...I'm sorry! :o(

I thought they finally added Phineas & Ferb already? Guess not. I think that is a stupid show, but Aly still loves it, and there are certain catch phrases that I say often--"Hey, where's Perry?" "Hey Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!" And I LOVE the theme song--love Bowling for Soup!

Tracy,

I have a picture with the Red SPD Ranger too. I haven't been a big fan, but the SPD season was a pretty decent one. I wish they would have released the last few episodes on dvd. I can tell you have boys in your house. Our boys still pull the dvds out and watch them.

{{Hugs}} Tracy! And now that I think about it, this is a "mostly" boy-themed meet and greet (which WDW certainly could use more of).

I'm also not heartbroken about this but have never even noticed the presence of Power Rangers. I totally agree with Aly that it would be perfect to replace it with Muppets meet and greet! I really love that idea.
