help me decide... resorts for next trip

now that i'm finally done w/ my trip report (whew!!!!), i can concentrate on our next trip, which unfortunately for me isn't till next easter. but hey, i can make ressies!! our school always has most of the week before and the week after easter for vacation, so i know my dates.
we always take the whole 2 weeks, and we've been doing 2 resorts so we don't get 'bored' (is that possible??????)
but i'm thinking that maybe this next time we don't split the resort so we can settle in and not have to think about packing back up and moving, which isn't too big a deal, but maybe for a change we'll stay put.
so far, we've stayed at the Grand Floridian, Poly, Wilderness Lodge Villas, Boardwalk Villas, Beach Club Villas, AKL and the Cabins at FW. DH doesn't like the exterior corridors at the moderates and values... if it weren't for that, i'd really want to try a few of them. also, i've read the double beds are a pain, and dh is 6'1" and is very used to our king bed.
so here are my 2 thoughts klunking around my brain :P...
1) do the split stay again so dh doesn't get bored... he really likes to try new places each time to keep disney "fresh". I'm thinking contemporary first (tower, mk view), so i get my MK fix as soon as we arrive at disney, which is what i really, really like! he's not too thrilled about the contemp... he HATES the decor (but it really does look better since the refurbishment) and is somewhat paranoid about the height (and we wouldn't consider garden wing there... i'd just do a different resort if we didn't do tower mk view). I think the pool looks really great for our kids (dd 6yo and ds 4yo) there too (with the slide, 2 fountains in it and the fountain on the side, and all the steps in it), and walking to mk is nice. And even though he's not really into it, he'll pretty much do whichever one i book (i'm not really allowed to talk to him about this too much, as i think is the case w/ a lot of you too... LOL!) Then we'd probably want to move to a villa resort for a 1 bedroom... we'll be sick of restaurant food by then and will cook a few times for ourselves. so then for the 2nd week, i'm torn between Old Key West (haven't done it yet), Saratoga Springs (haven't done it yet), Boardwalk (did it and LOVED it) or Beach Club (did it and loved it). I really liked being able to walk to world showcase for lunches or dinners, and just being close to epcot and mgm. not that we can't bus there, but boy is it nice to walk there! I was also toying w/ the idea of the swan or dolphin, but i've read so many mixed reviews of them, i'm not sure. then maybe we'd do the dining plan, which we've never done (if we didn't do a villa).
My other idea is to just settle into a 1 bedroom villa and stay there. Wilderness Lodge is nice because dd and i can hop the boat to mk easily, but not so easy to get to epcot and mgm. i think i'd lean more towards the boardwalk or beach club since there's more to easily do there (if we were staying 2 weeks). And i'm not sure about Key West or Saratoga Springs for 2 weeks... maybe it would be nice to be 'away from it all' a little bit, or maybe we will get bored.
any thoughts... what would you do... i always feel the need to have something planned or i go disney-crazy. i seem to settle down once i have ressies made.
tia if anyone has any ideas. Liz :)

Well considering you still have a few resorts to check out before you 'settle down' and you will be there two weeks.....the envious part of me would stick with resort hopping for this trip and next at least. The part of me that has to pack up 3 girls and a dh says to stay put! LOL! A lot of help I am huh?
We enjoyed our MK tower room and I think I would enjoy it more
