what are the best deals, best places to stay, eat etc......
this will be our 1st trip.
which place is best for my girls ages ? my 10 yr old is still a very YOUNG 10 while my 11 yr old is a very mature 11.
thanks in advance.

Congratulations on your first trip!
first off, do you want to stay on property or off property?
On Property you have a choice of value, moderate or deluxe.
I personally didn't care for the value hotels, the All Stars, but there are many people here on the board who love them and it's a good fit for them.
For a Moderate I would suggest Port Orleans Riverside
And If you are after a deluxe, you can't go wrong with any of them, however you will need to decide if you want to be on the monorail line. If so, I would suggest the Contemporary
If not, Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom, It all reall depends on what theme you like and which park you'd like to be close to.
My personal favorite places to eat are:
Chef Mickey's for breakfast
Cinderella Castle for breakfast
Crystal Palace for Dinner
You will get lots of good feedback here. Since it's your first trip, I'm sure you'll have lots of questions, ask away!

anxiously awaiting our next trip in July
It isn't very likely that there will be great deals or specials in March. That's peak season and they usually don't have any problems filling hotel rooms. Especially with Easter being early next year.
My girls are 10 1/2 - and NOT the princess type - I wouldn't go so far as to call them "mature" they are just more athletic than girly...BUT, when we go to Disney they enjoy all of the fun things that their younger sisters enjoy - Like collecting autographs, pin-trading, passports and kidcot stops in Epcot. I think that esp. if this is your first trip they will just love everything!
My favorite character meal is Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. I'm not a huge fan of Chef Mickey's although lots of people love it there. My girls loved the dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge, and Prime Time Cafe in MGM.
I haven't stayed in a value resort, so I can't recommend any of them, but for moderates I loved Port Orleans French Quarter, and for Deluxe I recommend the Polynesian. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are also a great option. You can check out tons of information at www.allearsnet.com
Have fun planning your trip!
