Hollywood studios recommend for a 3 and 6 yo. Will be at magic kingdom one day and can pick another park for the second. Would epcot be better. It's me and the 2 kids so I have to think of rides the 3yo can go on also. Went to animal kingdom 4 weeks ago and really only saw half, maybe we should finish that park if you don'y think the others are good for us.

When Aly was this age, MK and Epcot were by far the 2 favorite parks.

Her first 4 trips, we visited the studios (was MGM then) for half-days only (one half-day per trip). Then we skipped the studios the next 3 trips. We just went back on her 8th visit last summer because she is obsessed with Muppets and we spent 2 half-days there (she was 12).

However, we would spend part of every day at either MK or Epcot on every trip she's been on. I don't think we've ever done a Disney park day that we didn't do one of those 2 parks.

Neither of the parks are heavy on rides for this age group, but my twins and I are feeling like Hollywood Studios has more in the way of shows and playgrounds for this age group. More characters, too....if your kids are into characters.

If you've not seen it yet, this gives a good summary of the park:

We love Epcot (our second favorite park after MK), but it was never a big hit with my kids when they were 3-4 years old. It definitely is NOW though! If your children are more into walking around, checking out the sites, and the Kidcot stations, then Epcot could be your better bet.

A summary of this park:

We were just there for my daughters' birthdays (just turned 5 and turned 3 on the trip).

We didn't like this park when our kids were younger.

I would probably choose Epcot.

For my family, we would choose Epcot. My daughter was eighteen months the last time we were in Disney and she LOVED it! She loved Nemo, the Imagination Pavillion, the fountains/splash areas, she loved the sights in the countries and the Character greeting spot. Hollywood Studios is not a hit for my family with kids. My 9yo neice and 6yo nephew had much more fun in Epcot last trip as well. I really think there's so much more to do and see, even if your kids aren't at the height limit yet.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Wr decided on Epcot and it was perfect. Saw the chinese acrobats and did the kidcot stations. All things we didn't do before.
