How confusing is it to get around?

Our trip is quickly approaching and I'm getting nervous about getting around places, bus transfers, etc etc... here's a peak at out "schedule" if you could let me know the fastest or best ways to get from one to another I'll be forever grateful!LOL!! oh and we're staying at allstar music.

Thurs we get in to the airport at 6pm, so by the time we check in I was considering taking a stroll on the Boardwalk possible? have a dessert somewhere there (where was the good place) and then call it a night. Would we see fireworks from the boardwalk from anywhere? so fastest way to the Boarwalk and then back?

Friday should be all day at epcot. again there and back how?

Sat may get messy... starting at AK for Breafastasaurus at 8am. Then I'm not sure how long we will last there depending on how hot it gets, we have dinner at 6pm at whispering canyon cafe. So we may go back to the room for a rest before dinner. and then from WCC I was considering going downtown for Disney quest for the boys and some shopping for me and Abby! so how do I get from WCC to DTD and then back to ASMu?

sunday is all day MK, we have lunch sheduled for 2:30 at Crystal palace

It's not confusing at all to get around! In front of the "main building" at Music (where you check in, food court, shop, etc), there is a bus stop. There are several sections, each on with a sign that shows what bus will stop there. There is one for each of the four major parks and Downtown Disney; Blizzard Beach shares with Animal Kingdom, and Typhoon Lagoon share with Downtown. Just get in the line for where you want to go, and get on the bus when it comes. It takes you right to the gates, no worries!

To get back to ASMusic from the park, just go back out to the bus stop, there is a stop for each resort; sometimes the AS resorts share a bus, sometimes they don't. If they are sharing, the sign on the bus will say All Star Resorts; if they aren't sharing, it will just say All Star Music.

To get to the Boardwalk, you would need to go either to a park or Downtown Disney, then get on a Boardwalk bus there; the buses don't go from resort to resort. When we're trying to get to another resort, we just get on the first bus that comes and transfer at that park.

To get to Whispering Canyon, you take the MK bus from ASMusic, then I believe there is a Wilderness Lodge bus stop at MK; if not, you can take the boat for WL from the MK. At the WL, there will be a Downtown Disney bus; I don't know if the deluxe resorts have a line for each bus or not, just watch for the bus marked Downtown Disney and take that one. At the entrance to DTD, there are several bus stops; again, use the one for ASMu.

I hope this helps, it's really not hard at all! All the buses have a light-up sign that tells where they are going when they pull up to the bus stops.

(Regular luker here)....

I'm so glad you asked this question... I am planning our trip for October and am freaking out - cause I don't think I understand all the bus/train/monorail schedules and where one goes to and doesn't go to and how to get from here

I worried about it on our first trip too, we had done absolutely NO planning at all. We booked a package with a discount through DH employer, and we knew the name of our resort. Nothing else.

If you have questions after you get to WDW, don't ask at the front desk of the resort. Ask someone wearing PURPLE PANTS--a bus driver or monorail driver. They are glad to help, and they know how it all works.

It truly is very easy, after you see the buses and the stops, you'll see. Have fun!
