How do you carry your gear? I always take a camera and autograph books with us. We also take snacks inside as well. ;) I don't want to take too much stuff in but i don't want to miss an opportunity for pictures either. We are taking our stroller with us but i don't want to leave the valuables inside it. Last year, we had a built in helper that we are going to miss a lot. On the other hand we are going to have a different experience without him if you kwim. :D Anyway, I was looking at a Baggalini which is offered with a discount through mousesavers. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Btw, the third hand carried the backpack for us. Lol

Yes, I left out the baggies...lots & lots of baggies!..lol It's a "staple" in my house anyway, but at home I keep storage AND freezer bags in gallon & quart size, sandwich size and snack size, PLUS I have some 2 gallon bags that I kinda bought by accident a couple years ago, but came up with some great uses for them (at home)...one being our negatives..not saying that's a perfect, but after seeing the destruction after the hurricanes, I only had them in a small plastic shoebox tub, now I have them sealed in a bag, so if there is any water damage, there's a good chance they'll be saved.

I too can't wait until Aly can be trusted to carry her own stuff, but for now, I just keep it all in those 3 bags because I know I'll end up carrying it at some point anyway!

I have a good link on my website: http://alygatordisney.tripod.com (Under "Other Useful Links") I had 2 links on it, but one went "under"...it was showing up as page not available, but I don't think they had updated in a few years anyway.

Well-stuffed fanny packs! DH & I both carried one. In one, we had the still camera and the video camera, plus DS's disposable camera. Then we had some small snacks, "keys the the world", my glasses case and an autograph book. Dh's pack had holsters for water bottles - we used those most days.

I have to get me some of those 2 gallon baggies - I love my gallon size as it is! Imagine what I could do with that size! LOL

Seriously, that's a great idea about protecting your negatives.

Another "important" thing I used a 2-gallon size bag for was my Christening gown. My mom made it for me (many years ago..lol) and Aly used it. It had always been "out" and now it's a little more "protected" thanks to Ziploc!

Ziploc can thank me for getting my students to buy their products, too....lol. I need 28 boxes of Ziploc bags for our "Math Ice Cream Day"...lol.
