how much in 1/2 day?

How much of a park can you get done in 1/2 a day? (may 11-16) Or does each park really deserve it's own full day? I guess it really depends on your group and what they want to see but with kids from 11yrs to 20 months we're going to have to do big and little kid things! just wondering how many of you really spend the ENTIRE day at one park. TIA (you gals have been wonderful with all your advice so far!)

The way we usually do it is (and it depends on the length of stay) 1 park per day. We do spend entire days in the park, then we go back and revisit our favorites. When we travel for more than 5 days MK is always the first and the last day. But our preference is to do each park for an entire day.
I forgot to mention that your time in the parks also depend a lot on if you have any ADR's. That takes up a good amount of time.

We usually go to a park in the morning, arriving before opening. Sometimes an early character breakfast, sometimes not. We stay at the park until lunchtime or so, doing all the major things first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. If we eat in the park or at the resort really depends on where we are, but it's usually the resort. We take a break, swim, take a nap, and then return to a park (not always the same one as in the morning) around dinnertime. We then stay until closing. We tend to get a lot done this way, it doesn't work for everyone, but it works for us. As far as days, we usually have at least 2 full days at MK, 2 full days at Epcot, 1 day for AK and 1 day for MGM. If we have more time, we go back to whatever park we want to, and these days are usually in halves. We spend 2 days at MK, but it is actually 4 1/2 days, etc. We just can't stay in the parks all day, my kids need their naps and so do I!
