We have been tossing the idea around that we would possibly travel to the World again before the end of the year....I haven't booked flights because we are waiting for the insurance adjustor.........I just want to throw the money on the flights and be done with it.

You came to the wrong place for restraint on Disney.

Wait with me Natalie!

We are going in September(also going to say Boo to Mickey) but are as yet undecided about how exactly we're going to get there!!

At this point my thinking is that we'll probably drive to Syracuse and fly Jet Blue from there SO much cheaper than flying from Canada. We don't have to wait for an insurance adjuster - but we DO have to wait for the last of DH's redundancy package to come though from his last employer - it was finally all settled and signed last week - so the money should be in soon.

We are going in October, and taking our grandson who will be 9 this month. We are also going to Universal and staying at the Royal Pacifica. You get the bonus of the fast-pass if you stay at one of Universals own. They also close the park on certain evenings at 5 and re-open at 7 for their Halloween bash. It was pretty cool. Some id too intensive for younger children, but great for teens and adults. The smurf section you are walking through mountains of bubbles/foam.

Have you heard from your insurers yet Natalie?

We got our money today - the last of DH's layoff package from his old company. All I have to now is wait for DH to find out if he can actually come with us for the whole trip or just part of it (he only becomes eligible to take holiday in September and since he's only been working there a few weeks he wants to wait a week or so more before asking about holiday lol!)

THEN I can book our flights and THEN I can breathe a sigh of relief!

Dh paid phone tag with the insurance agent all day yesterday. They finally called back about 20 minutes ago. Who knows what they are going to do.
