OMGosh Becky!! We had to cancel our 2008 trip, but we're also planning for the end of May 2009!!!!!

We were there the week of Memorial Day this year, and the crowds weren't bad. It wasn't empty by any means, but we were able to do everything we wanted without huge waits. No, you can't fit absolutely everything in, but you can do a lot in the time you'll have.

Are you thinking about the gold/platinum plan again? We're probably going to end up with the deluxe dining plan, assuming they still have it.

Hmmm...only about 51 weeks until we can make ADR's.....better get busy!!!

P.S.--I "saw" you over on TGM today......I'm 2Blanks2008

Is C still doing competitive gymnastics? Would an end of May trip interfere with State? State here is the last 3 weekends in May - different weekends for different levels. Just don't want you to plan on a week and then find out C has state that weekend.

If you do 2 rooms you'd have to do two separate reservations if you only wanted dining on 1 and then they won't garauntee that they will be together. You could be on opposite sides of the hotel. They will garuntee connecting rooms for families where the children (under 18) out number the adults though - but everyone has to be on the same plan.

I understand the feeling about the mugs being a waste at the cabins. You're on the opposite end of the resort from the food area and you have a kitchen - as opposed to being on the opposite end of the resort at other resorts and not having a kitchen. You can use them for drinks in the cabin though if you wanted. The cups they have there are the small coffee cups that come with dining sets (you know - the ones that are only big enough for a couple of sips of high tea on your best manners) and glass mason jars - no plastic.

2 rooms (standard view - 2 queens) at the WL during regular season including tax will cost you around $4800 for 8 nights. A cabin will cost about $2600.

How exciting to have some concrete dates to plug into your plan! We are also planning to go the last week of May, although the school calendar probably won't be finalized and released until spring. However, as many mini ski trips as DH is planning to take this winter, I am thinking I *deserve* a trip to Disney sooner than 2009, ROFL!! Unfortunately, all his trips won't leave us any extra money for a Disney vacation :( I guess I have more time to plan for the next one!

Have fun planning :)

Well, Star Wars Weekend depends on your dates, but we came home June 2 last year, and it was the first day of SWW! We didn't have time to hit any of it, but it was there.

I'm excited with you, I want to plan too!!!!

This feels like late planning for me as I believe I started earlier for my 2005 planning.
