you caught my attention with this. I've never heard of this at disney (and I thought I knew all ;) ) I've seen this done with many other amusement parks around the country.

I'd be interested in the responses to this question too.

In the distant past (1999?), they used to offer after 4pm tickets to Epcot only, but that's the only ones I've ever seen advertised to the public.

I just looked it up. I found a bulletin board post from 2001 that mentioned the CONVENTION ONLY tickets for after 2pm for MGM or Epcot. You had to prove that you were a part of the convention that was being held at that resort.

And the Epcot after 4pm is still current, but it's an annual pass for Florida residents only and costs about $125.

Hi - I was the one that posted this info.

They probably added more parks to the plan (as I posted, the info I found was from 2001). Or maybe the convention organizers get to choose (maybe some are cheaper than others or something and they "pay" the other part of the cost...or maybe depending on the size of the convention--the amount of money they make determines how much they're willing to give out...lol.

Anyway, we had the same point, it's not information for the general public because it's only for conventioneers.

Gee, I wish I would have to go to Disney for a convention! :o(

LOL - I'll tell you how long it took for me to decide to go to this convention (the company sponsored it and paid for travel, accomodations, and meals)....about a nanosecond.
