Is there a walkway between these two parks? I think I read that somewhere (probably here).

There are so many great places to eat at Epcot, so I was thinking of eating at Epcot our day at MGM.

There is a boat that will take you to the Swan and Dolphin, Beach Club, and Boardwalk.

We took the boat from MGM right to the International Gateway. It made stops at the Swan, Dolphin and the Boardwalk, but took us right to Epcot. It was a nice ride.

How far of a walk? A few minutes?

I'd say it could be about a 10 minute walk, depending on who's doing the walking, that is LOL

Thanks everyone! I am thinking of doing this and not booking the fantasmic package. Still want to go to fantasmic, but not thrilled with the places to eat with the package. I am thinking of going over to epcot having a nice dinner, then back to MGM for fantasmic.

We are going in February, so the crowds, hopefullly, will not be bad and we can just stand in line with everyone rather than priority seating.

THANKS

I would just make sure that you aim to eat early (depending on what time Fantasmic is, that is).

MGM is our least favorite park, so I really think we can pull it off....We never spend a lot of time there, but have never done fantasmic and we are not skipping it this time. (We are star wars freaks, but you can only ride star tours so many times...haha)

I was just posting all of this info in my vacation planning word document and I have a few questions... Where is the boat located at MGM and where will the boat dock at Epcot? Also, if we were to walk, where is the path? I have no experience with the international gateway....I think the path will end up near the UK showcase... is that right?

Thanks again!

***If you are leaving MGM, both the walkway and the boat dock are to the *left* of the buses. It isn't far from the exit.

Also, if we were to walk, where is the path? I have no experience with the international gateway....I think the path will end up near the UK showcase... is that right?

***Yes the gateway is in the world showcase.
