If I book the all inclusive dining package, do I have to eat at only my hotel? Is there nice grown up places to eat at the POP? Next question is going to see weird, I have an expensive Kodak easy share Zoom lens, really nice camera. My question is of course I want to take it with me, but just like when I went to the Carribean, I am afraid of taking it cause I dont want to damage it. I missed a lot of great shot because I was scared to ruin it. I have a carrying case, but if we go on a water ride, what do I do?

Thanks,

Kelly

No you don't have to eat only at your hotel with the dining plan, the plan includes almost all of WDW both counter service and sit down (including character meals)

SOmewhere on the Disney web site is a list of all the places where you can use the dining plan and there is a link on either Allears or Mousesavers that you can look at and plan from (it's a good idea to make a few reservations before you go for the places you really want to eat at)I don't have the link right now but I am sure someone will be able to give it to you.

As for your camera, leaving it behind would be a shame. My DH is a big photographer and has a great camera (with a huge lens LOL!)that he takes everywhere with him. he uses a fairly padded case for it that buckles round his waist, it has a canvas type of outside that is somewhet water resistant, and he's never had a problem with it. If yours is small enough you could put it inside your backpack if you're going on a ride where you think it's likely to get really wet - like Splash Mountain maybe, or just take along a large ziploc type bag to put it in for those occasions.

Some water rides like Kali River Rapids ride in Animal Kingdom have a covered place in the centre to put things when you ride - it's not a huge space but DH put his camera there.

I've never stayed at POP so I can't help you there.

Have fun

At the Pop there is only a Food Court (fast food type choices) so no sit down "adult" restaurant.

Here is a link from the disney website with the dining plan restaurants:

Thank you so much for answering me, I had a Canon Sure shot when I went to carribean, and took a disposable too. I missed so many great shots cause of fear of ruining it, and then that same year, I dropped it SO I really killed it. It had a nice zoom lens, I am actually thinking of shopping around for a smaller camera to take with us since mine is big like your hubbys. I loved the idea of putting it in a bag and putting it in the carrying case. Thank you for not making me feel stupid about this.

I really appreciate the fact I am not limited to where I can eat, my son likes to go to nice places too, not just family places. I will checking out all the places in your post, as long as I am not limited to where I can eat, this is a great option for us. Think about it, its 39 bucks a day for each one of us to eat for the day. With the prices in Disney this makes sense for us.

Thanks for all of your help, now if I could take my kitties I would be so happy.

I will be back with more questions I,m sure, but i really love this allears.net that is the greatest thing to read on .

Hugs,

Kelly
