1. What do people travelling with laptops do with them during the day?

Well, Debbie, the only ones *I* can answer are your bug questions. April is one of the prime months for love bugs (Sept is the other prime months). Love bugs DO NOT BITE! But they are ever so annoying and they can literally tear up the paint and metal on your car if left on (not that that is a problem for you to worry about).

Mosquitos are usually never a problem at the parks, but if you do any outdoorsy stuff outside of the parks (at the resorts), you may want to bring along some bug spray.

And about bees, I only know this because of a specific experience. In Dec of 1999, in Epcot, while going up to see Snow White, a bee approached. Snow White was "afraid" of the bee, but her voice stayed in character (very high-pitched) the whole time. That's the only time I've ever noticed a bee and I've never noticed any wasps (I'm allergic).

Just have to comment on the Love Bugs. We saw alot of them when we were there in May of 2004. They were all over the place. My DS11 freaks out over bugs...and he DID NOT like these at all. I noticed them mostly when we were en route to the parks...like on the ferry and resort boats. Like Alysha said, they don't bite, but they are really annoying.

Other than those, we've never been bothered by any bugs at WDW resorts. However, we have found a few little "critters" in our room...I'm not sure what kind of "lizards" they are...we always call them "geckos" but we could be all wrong on what species they are. Those little guys are all over the place. My DS11 hates stuff like that, but my DS7 thought they were way cool! (we don't have those kind of things in PA!)

Are the "geckos" brown & tan with spotted bodies and striped tails? And you only see little ones inside (usually)? If so, then they definitely are geckos. I actually called our local state ag agent to find out. They eat roaches & moths! And they are really cool to watch on the bathroom windows at night! (I don't know about at the resort, but at home.)

About love bugs & boats--most of the boats at Disney are WHITE and that is the color they are attracted to most.

Hi, Debbie! Remember that no planning question is a silly one! :) And yours were good questions!

1. Laptops - we've taken a laptop on every trip and have never had a problem storing them in our room.
