I'm sure that you are used to packing an extra outfit for DS, but since it's still "summer" here in Florida, you might want to pack two outfits per day for everyone. We went over Labor Day weekend and although I live in FL, I'm not used to being outside all day long. I had taken two tops per bottom. Boy was that a mistake. We would go back to our room, lunch/shower and completely change into fresh outfits. If you can't pack that many outfits, maybe bring some powder detergent to do some laundry in the middle of your trip.
Oh, I almost forgot a great toddler travel tip: dollar store (again!) nightlights & extra bulbs! Actually, dh & I usually take at least one even if it's just us, and even if we're staying at someone's house instead of a hotel. We all wear glasses, and hate stubbing our toe going to an unfamiliar bathroom in the middle of the night. Hotel rooms usually have blackout drapes to boot! --- TTFN, Max
Well, nobody told you about the over-the-door shoe bag yet. That's a lifesaver in any hotel room or cruise cabin. Put toiletries, camera, ticket/door key, anything...in the pockets. Helps you stay organized and keeps your smaller personal items off the bathroom vanity too.
Another tip....take something bright and unique to tie to the stroller handle....even if it's your own stroller....somebody will have one just like yours, believe me.
Since you're planning to do laundry, take quarters in a "M&M's Mini" canister or a film canister.
Oh, and for other "classic P names"....I know a Parker (boy), Prent (boy) and Presley (girl).
I thought of the shoe organizer but someone apparently beat me to it. I used it for toiletries (to avoid cluttering up the small counter space by the sink), hanging right there from the clothes rod. I'm talking about the clear pocket kind - I swear by them at home too, btw, used them in my son's room to store small toys that always seem to sprout everywhere!
As for the clothes hamper, if you don't make it to the dollar store, it's one item I forgot and didn't miss, but found we did just fine using the bottom dresser drawer for all the dirty clothes (I put a giant ziploc in it, and used that to carry the clothes to the laundry room, but you could just empty it into your carry-on bag, I saw people doing that).
Don't forget a few dryer sheets, not just for the dryer but as deodorizer for shoes, etc.
This is not a packing tip per se, but another thing that worked really well for us was to set up a little corner of the room by an electric outlet as our "charging station" (for battery chargers for the cameras, cell phones, etc). What I did was I propped up my rolling carry-on on its side and that was the perfect hight to set up all the chargers. That also let me use the outside pocket of the carry-on for specific things such as the tip envelopes for the mousekeepers (and my son's Disney Dollars allowance each day, but that won't apply to your boy -yet!)
Hi Shay! FABULOUS new siggy! :) I love how it blends your identities of "Disney Freak" and "CL of the Atheist Board" - and those girls of yours are Bee-oooo-tiful!! (With my apologies to the Original Poster for the thread hijack!)

I'm not sure if your toddler still needs them, but I hate when I leave home without my sippy cups.
