There is nothing wrong w/ the value resorts! I do not find hat much difference. They both have food courts where we usually do breakfast. As far as your dates, b-days are really fun in Disney. You get a button and CM are so extra nice to you! It will make for extra special memories. You can start booking everything atleast 1 year out. If you do it thru Disney they will prorate if they offer better savings. Have a great time & enjoy all the magic.

This is an excellent time to visit. I would try to avoid Memorial Day Weekend, since it may be more crowded. I have stayed at value resorts for the 5 trips with my DD. We LOVE Pop Century. I love staying close by everything Disney and the transportation from the value resorts is all busses; we've had great luck getting everywhere on time. When you stay at a Disney resort, you are able to book your ADR easier. They let you book for the first 10 days of your trip, once the reservations are accepted for that time frame. I think the convenience of the dining plan is worth it, never mind the cost savings. At WDW, you are considered an adult for park tickets and ding plan at 10 years old!
Hope you have an amazing time planning your trip; that's part of the fun of vacation.

Welcome!

We are thinking about going 5/24-5/30 or 5/28-6/3. I just cant decide if its better to go with the 1st or 2nd option.
