October Nights Temperature Question

Ok, I did mid-October in 2003 and I remember it being hot during the day but can not think of what I wore at night except one night when I remember wearing a long sleeve tee with shorts to the pool. Will we need sweatshirts/jackets at night or will tees and sundresses on the kids be ok? Of course, I'll have one for each kid just in case but should I plan for cooler nights and bring several?

Sorry I haven't been on here for so long, so I'm just now seeing this. Now that it's so close, I'd say it's still really warm here. I'd bring a light jacket or hoodie, but I don't think you'll need it! (And, speaking of, I'm so ready for fall to get here. Cooler mornings, especially!!)

Your trip is so close - yay!!!!

Shorts and t-shirts should still be good for the daytime, but I'd bring at least one pair of pants, just in case. The weather down here can get really wonky, really quickly. We even each too pants this past weekend on our trip. We didn't need them, but had them in case we did!

I'm glad you asked this!  I was wondering the same thing--we'll be there shortly after you--Oct.24, so I'm planning on taking a light jacket for each of us.  I guess shorts and t-shirts will still be good for during the day?

Bring a light jacket/hoodie for everyone. The temps have already started to cool off a little bit (high 80s instead of 90s during the day, and I think it is getting down in the 70s when the sun goes down), so by the middle of next month they should be a little cooler even. Plus, they have the buses set to deep-freeze, lol. And some of the restaurants are quite chilly. If you are taking a stroller, you can always just tie the jackets to the handle, which is what we did, even on the bus.

There were a couple of nights where a light jacket or sweater were needed. I'd just bring one for each person.
