Well it's not going to be any cheaper that's for sure lol! I just about had a heart attack the day we went and I got our tickets from the machine.

I've been to both in recent years and enjoyed them, but for us we liked Disney better. Of the two Universal parks our fave was Islands of Adventure - which is the most Disneylike lol!

I'll second the NOT cheaper part -- I actually think Universal is a little more expensive then Disney.

Well we went to Universal Studios a few years ago, and we enjoyed Disney much more. Our kids were ages 4 & 6, and I think Universal is more geared towards older kids and adults. Universal was fun, but we loved Disney. So it does depend on what your family likes to do. And we thought the food at Universal was more expensive than Disney.

I'm sure you will have fun where ever you go. My dh loved Kennedy Space Center too.

Universal is DEFINATELY NOT cheaper. I recently priced out a four day stay there and it was very pricey. It was actually cheaper for us to stay in disney, with a 10 pass and the dining plan than to split our stay between disney and universal.

We are however going to hop over to universal for two days so that is possible depending on your length of trip. We will be there for 10 days, 8 in disney 2 in universal. I chose to take the 10 day tix for disney though because it was the best deal and when we leave universal we can always go back to a disney park.

The only reason for us even going to universal is because my son is really into spiderman.

Hi Colleen! I think Universal closed nickelodeon in florida, maybe last year? They did have the slime thingy when we were there several years ago, and the kids got to play games and stuff. I think the Jimmy Neutron ride is still there, and it was fun although my little one didn't like the moving seats.

Have a great time!

Thanks for the info-that takes care of that.
I know when she figures out where we are going she will ask about it.
Not sure if my 80 mil would enjoy it as much as my 10 and 6 year old.
So guess we will just hang around disney:)
Thanks for your help
