I totally agree with Val - if you have the money to spend, Pal Mickey is worth it. He's so much fun, and the kids can play with him at home, too, so it's not like you'll only use him while on your trip. The only issue we had is that he can get to be a little bit of a pain to lug around. He's not heavy or anything, but on our last day this past trip, everyone was fighting over NOT wanting to carry Mickey, lol. If you have little kids and are using a stroller, that wouldn't be an issue, though, and our first trip, our dd had a backpack that kept her autograph book in it, and we just clipped him to that and it worked great. Just didn't plan as well for Mickey this trip, lol.
