We will be at MK on April 25th and it looks like they are having Spectro at 9 and Wishes at 10.

Where is the best place to view Spectro and Wishes and how soon do we need to get there to get a place to sit? I saw the Electric Light Parade (or maybe it was spectro then???)

There are many great spots to watch Spectro - we've caught it as it first comes out of the backstage area near the beginning of Main Street to the left, near the Barber Shop.

We like to watch the parade back in Liberty Square but we don't usually watch Wishes afterwords. My very favorite spot to watch Wishes so far is over on the bridge to Tomorrowland on the benches. It's nice to sit and watch it. :) I think I would like the view from the Wishes Dessert Party too. ;)

Whatever you do, please stay away from the "hub" (area right in front of the castle by the partners statue of Mickey and Walt), as the mob scene is just horrendous!
There's supposed to be a little "secret" area by the rose garden below, but we didn't make it down there. On the Tomorrowland side is good if you want to see Tink fly over. Some like Town Square as it puts you ahead of the majority for leaving the park afterward, but I say what's the rush? :)

Hmmm, well maybe I could get a snack and sit and save spots for myself and the kids and have DH take them into a store or something for a few minutes until people start coming and wanting spots then the kids would need to come back. How does that work? Is it just basically sitting on the curb? I remember when we saw it before, there were just people sitting everywhere, so we went and sat down and waited. We just knew something awesome was going to happen. But it was my Mom and I and not kids. My kids are less than patient. But we were right- it was awesome!

They do have things like hula hoops that the kids can play with while they are waiting. :) Oh and they sell lots of light up toys to keep kids occupied. ;)
