Hello...I have tried finding this info on previous posts, but couldn't seem to locate it, so I apologize up front if it's listed somewhere :)....

Once we pay our park and waterpark admission in full, are we guaranteed that rate?

The offical line and the actual practice tend to vary here. Offical line is that if you purchase a package and the rate increases before your package is paid in full then you are charged the difference. If you are paid in full it is not supposed to affect your cost. In practice it seems hit or miss, some CMs will tell you you will get hit with it, some will tell you you won't and they can't even seem to apply it the same way all the time! Rate increases really mess with their computers it seems. Perhaps the newest upgrade will help that.

If you purchase your tickets only, either directly from Disney or from a broker and have them in hand or ordered before the increase then you won't pay any difference.

And if you purchase the physical tickets, they either never expire (non-expiration tickets) or don't expire until after you have first used them (I think it's 14 days after first use). That is why some people do the following: If you are planning a trip in the future (maybe 6 months, a year, 18 months down the road) and you find out about a price increase, you might go ahead and purchase the tickets (online or from The Disney Store) right before the increase. Then, the tickets are paid for and they are just a tad bit cheaper.

One more question: so am I to assume that the '07 rates are done as far as any more increases go?

Never assume! ;o)

One year recently, they went up twice in one year if I remember correctly. Like in January and again in September or so.
