Pirate Cruise

I have 2 boys that at time of trip in November will be 6 and almost 9. I see Disney offers the Pirate Cruise. Has anyone done this? Both kids are priate freaks and I am sure they still will be in November. Is the cruise worth the $30? It says they get lunch, which is uncrustables, goldfish and a drink box. It also said that they get treasures at every stop. What type of treasures? I just want to make sure I am getting more for my $30 than a $2 lunch and some stickers. Not that I am looking for something FANTASTIC, but my kids have enough "junk" toys from McDonalds.

Thanks!

A friend of mine (Shelby, are you out there?) sent her two kids on the Pirate Cruise in August. I believe they got pirate bandana mickey ear hats. (or maybe she had to purchase those separately, but I don't think so).

My DS7 would love it, but I don't know if he'd go alone. My DS11 will be 12 when we are in Disney and I think he's too old.

They've both been on a pirate cruise in Annapolis MD before. It was alot of fun! Parents were able to go aboard too.

We were at WDW this past Aug. and both my kids (dd 7 and ds 6) did the Pirate cruise and both loved it! (& dd isn't all into pirates...this was the thing that ds chose and she chose dinner w/Cinderella)

When you sign the kids in, they are "issued" a life jacket and the pirate bandana w/mickey ears.

Shelby,

Thank you so much for your input. I think it is something that they would like to do, but I wasn't sure. After reading what your kids did I can sell DH on it better.

Hello--Why am I not finding anything about this pirate cruise? My ds's are 7 & 8 and they would like this! We are going in two weeks. Can you tell me more about it? So, parents aren't allowed? More info please, it sounds fun!

Thanks--Lisa

If I remember correctly, you call Disney dining and they book it for you. It is $30/kid and they don't do it everyday, but maybe 4 days a week.

Thanks for the post! We've got the kids scheduled for 1/24. They're going to love it.
